NOFSN Field Day....come play!
We will be hosting a Field Day this Saturday 6/30 at 4:00pm in Washington Square Park in the Marigny. This will be a mix-and-mingle for anyone who is interested in learning what the Free School Network is all about and meeting the co-organizers. This is also a day to bring the kids out! We will be having fun, kid-friendly games and activities, as well as food...and it's all free! Check out the flyer and join us on Saturday!
Also on Saturday from 2-3:30 there will be a TEEN POETRY WORKSHOP at the Main Library Auditorium. This 90-minute workshop presented by Asia Rainey of WordPlay is designed to develop inspiration and expression. It will also help teens prepare for the 2012 Teen Poetry Writing Contest. See rules and regulations for details. There will be another workshop on Saturday 7/7 from 2-3:30 at the Robert E. Smith Branch.
