Don Paul, who was Director of Operations for Common Ground Relief, will discuss Common Ground’s efforts to initiate cooperative projects, and others will report on other aspects of New Orleans’ history of mutual aid and cooperation. The main topic of discussion will be the possibilities in New Orleans today to create a solidarity economy with cooperative production, cooperative consumption, and cooperative living, and the concrete steps that can be taken to realize this goal.
