The New Orleans Free School Network is run completely by volunteers. If you would like to donate your time, we currently need help with the following tasks:
*Flyering: Help us post new calendars at end of every month at community centers, libraries, coffee shops and other public spaces.
*Tabling: Attend farmer's markets, art markets and community events, hand out free school pamphlets, inform community members about NOFSN and encourage individuals to sign up for e-mail list.
*Technical Support: Update and maintain free school wiki. Expand NOFSN's online presence.
*General Outreach: Take free school pamphlets and class descriptions to community centers and public spaces. Build relationships with other educational organizations. Organize promotional events for NOFSN.
*Organizing: Attend weekly organizer's meeting on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at Flora's (back room). Assist with administrative tasks. **PLEASE only sign up to be an organizer if you have several hours a week to dedicate to working for the free school**
*Donations: No time to volunteer? Make a monetary donation to NOFSN instead!
