As many of you may know, we are rethinking our flyering strategy. Instead of distributing monthly calendars around town, we will be mailing them directly to your door! We will include several calendars in each envelope so that you can share or distribute them if you feel like it. If you would like to receive mail the old-fashioned way, e-mail us (nolafreeschoolnetwork@gmail.com) with your mailing address and we will put something in your mailbox! Remember those things?
The Freret Neighborhood Center's Resource Center is currently seeking volunteers to teach computer skills, usually one-on-one, in our computer lab. Volunteers sign up for a weekly 2-hour shift during our open hours on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, between 10 am and 2 pm. Curriculum and materials are provided. Computer students range from novices to mid-level users. We are happy to be references for you and provide any additional support you need.
